I have been having this problem for as long as I have had this PC, about 8 months. The sound in games stops after a certain playing time, this could be within 2 mins to 20 mins, but it does stop. I can still use the sound outside of games to watch movies, play music or in the internet with no problem.
This happens on most of the games, making it unplayable. Some of the game s included are Far Cry 3, Thief, NFS. I have tried uninstalling the audio drivers then re-installing, still the same problem exists.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
